Governor Kada to visit Michigan, USA

Governor Kada has paid a first visit to Michigan that is Shiga's sister-state, aimed at promoting the prefecture to attract businesses and tourists. Kada will stay in the States by September 14th.

Although the governor is going to be a honorary head of the goodwill mission delegation that consists of Shiga's ordinary citizens leaving Japan on September 10th, Kada has already left for the States.

The governor is scheduled to visit industrial facilities including alternative energy generators. She will also attend the 42nd Annual Joint Meeting of the Japan-Midwest U.S. Association where about 300 business leaders and governors mingle with, giving a speech to attract businesses and tourists to the prefecture.
